I am so great!

Well here it is, since attending Advanced Shift Management Class I have been promoted to Systems Manager. I will still work basically the same hours, but now (well, as of Aug 1) I don't clock in and out anymore, because I have gone salary. And I am now required to work 43 hours a week, and have lots of book work, and paper stuff to work on. I am really excited, but the boys on the other hand are more than a little pissed. Larry and Matt feel that since they have been at Mickey D's longer than me that they should have been the first to go to class... but that isn't the way that Kyong works, and any halfway intelligent person can see that. Kyong rewards that people that stay late, come in early, do extra work, and take on the whole messed up training system by themselves with no prompting from her. That is why I went to class instead of them, plus the fact that their customer service kinda leaves a lot to be desired (you all know what I mean) So anyway, when I got back to work last night at 7pm Matt was still pissed off, and then after Rachael left he went into this rant about how he was SO outta there and was going to take Larry with him. Okay Matt, there is just one thing wrong with that, after the Managers Meeting Larry sat down with Kyong and talked with her for over 30 minutes about what he has to work on and that she will allow him to go to class next year. I don't think Larry is going anywhere. And Matt has an interview at Starbucks on the 28th. Oh yeah, customer service with coffee instead of burgers with not near as much chance to move up in the ranks... yeah you will be much happier there Matt, huge change of scenery. I don't think so. And besides, your customer service still blows. And you know what? I dont feel bad for either of these bitches, because I have worked my ass off for this, with no help from anyone, and I think most people would rather work with me than them anyway. Yeah! Yeah for me! YEAH for McDonalds... screw Disneyland, Mickey D's is the happiest place on earth. (yeah right) But still, I am excited and I have the opportunity to so some great things here, and if all goes as planned, once I got to EMP class in Seattle next year, and then to Hamburger University the following year, then I am going to try and get into the training program so that I can teach newbies all the classes... that would be great. And if Matt wants to be a big bitch about it, he can go and lick a toad. Besides Kyong made a really good point yesterday... Matt rarely works a shift by himself anyway, so he would be the easiest manager to replace. When Matt works, Erika or Samuel are always there in the morning ( Matt usually doesn't come in until 11 or 12) and by then, Kyong is almost always there. So he can do the schedule ( which I have learned to do) and the shake machine (which Kyong and Chito can do) and which Matt is supposed to be training Drew on next Monday. Okay Matt, what do you got now? Not too much better. And besides, Elizabeth is being promoted to Shift Manager on the 1st od AUG too and I don't think she will have a problem pretending to run the floor like Matt does with Kyong there to help. And now that I have bitched about Matt and congratulated myself, I am going to go and take a shower. So sorry to all you crew who think Matt is so great, I think he would be better if he could be a man and just suck it up, and congratulate me ( only Erika and Samuel did at the meeting, Matt and Larry couldn't even look at me) So eat me boys, I have been nothing but nice to you and now you have turned into little whiny bitches. Boo-mutha-fuckin-hoo! yeah me!!!
